Whom we help
The Safety Nets Foundation provides financial support to five different charities. However, it is always your choice to determine which charity shall benefit from the earnings on investment of your donation.
In case of emergency situations which require additional support to any of the above charities, the Board of Directors shall support this charity from the returns of the other charities after the approval of not less than 3/4 of the board members.

Widowed & Orphans
The goal of this charity/safety net is to provide financial support to the families of our martyrs in the present and in the future (May God Forbid) and to families who have lost their main income-earner. Also to provide immediate financial support if an occurring incident results in casualties, wounded or disabled.
The donation to an orphan is a great deed and becomes greater when made to orphans who are the children of our martyrs.
Elderly & Disabled Charity
The goal of this charity/safety net is to provide a dignified life by providing financial support to the disabled and to the elderly who have no income and are in dire need.

University Students Charity
The goal of this charity/safety net is to provide financial support to university students who excel in their academic achievements and are in need of financial support to continue their higher education.
This support shall be on the basis of a loan without interest, out of which at least 50% would be paid back over a period of four years after graduation.
The scholarship is open to all applicants who satisfy the general eligibility requirements of the Scholarship Program.
High School Students Charity
The goal of this charity/safety net is to provide financial support to high school students who excel in their academic achievements and are in need of financial support to continue their secondary education and enable them to continue their higher education.
The scholarship is open to all applicants who satisfy the general eligibility requirements of the Scholarship Program.

Patients Charity
The goal of this charity/safety net is to provide financial support to sick persons who cannot afford the cost of hospitalization.
The foundation shall cover the difference between the hospital bills and the amount the government would pay through The Social Insurance.
It is worth mentioning that 40% of the Lebanese give up hospitalization due to financial reasons.
